Do we actually know how old the characters are supposed to be? I reckonnnnn Leo's early 40s, Harry's mid 30s and Nikki's early 30s, but I may or may not be wrong here...

I really should try some fluff at some point xD This definitely wasn't always going to be this angsty!

I don't know... I think Nikki would be 34ish and Harry would be 37ish and Leo would be early-mid fourties. When I was writing this as a multi-chapter 3rd person fic, Nikki was thirty five which is really the eldest you can be if you want to be a surrogate.

omg this was sad and amazing...and sad.
So lovely though. I loved the bit that said Even though Harry refused to talk to you for weeks, he would always hold your hair up when you were being sick in the middle of the day

This is beautiful, hun :) So heartbreaking and wonderful :) Love the second person style, it gives it a more intimate feel, and I think you've nailed Nikki's internal monologue. Brilliant fic, you should be proud of it :)

Thank you so much! *blushes* When I tried to write it in the 3rd person, the characterisation just wasn't working! I'm so glad that I decided to rewrite it though & the concept didn't just stay forgotten on my hard drive!
