I was going to write a long diatribe about how things have been going lately.  It was to be some vapid piece on how life sucks and how I was being defiant but as I sat down to vent, I received this email.  It was from "Hope" my recently departed apprentice:

They are playing a few dates in Texas. I don't know if they are doing Seattle again, but I'm sure they would. My brother is seeing them at a fest in Austin and I'm seeing them the next night in Dallas...wanna go? ;)

The Seattle audience let them know as such, but to get Liz Fraser, Horace Andy and all the others together is no small feat. Still, the Tricky songs are some of my favorites, if no my favorites.

And yeah, the letter made my day--someone out there thinks I know something and thinks I'm good at this! :D
