a friend of mine had a dance party and that song was the theme. when it comes to him, i have to say that i do believe it, which makes me happy. he's the kind of guy that can say something like that and really mean it.

it's barium contrast that the patient swallowed, and it's not passing through the bowel as expected. in short, they have a bowel obstruction. so, whilst i enjoyed a tasty, impromptu treat, they got a tube shoved down their nose and into their stomach to relieve the pressure backing up...

i needed get something to brighten my day! i raided the patient fridge and the cupboards for my supplies. the white stuff on the xray is contrast that got stuck in the gut, identifying a bowel obstruction...

Ah, obstruction. Such fond memories I have of that indeed. Puking between the screaming while racing to the hospital in the fetal position on the floor of a car. NG tube and morphine on demand. Nice experience.

I would never have thought that mushrooms could be so cruel.
