Yum. A sweet treat with a side of x-ray showing an unidentified something or other that looks like it doesn't belong in a human body. mmmmMMMmmm

i needed get something to brighten my day! i raided the patient fridge and the cupboards for my supplies. the white stuff on the xray is contrast that got stuck in the gut, identifying a bowel obstruction...

Ah, obstruction. Such fond memories I have of that indeed. Puking between the screaming while racing to the hospital in the fetal position on the floor of a car. NG tube and morphine on demand. Nice experience.

I would never have thought that mushrooms could be so cruel.

Stuck because of an ileostomy. I didn't chew it properly and I'd have to put that down to watching a baby pick up and start chewing on the remnants of a broken balloon - and I flipped and ran over to her to get it out of her mouth. I had just seen a story about a baby doing that very thing and his oxygen was cut off when he choked and he was brain left brain dead.

You haven't met anyone who chews more thoroughly than I.
