I went back into New Orleans Sunday. It was the most surreal experience of my life. Lakeview is disgusting. Its just this oppressive dust, wet, hot, smell, thing and its so bad. There were five frogs in our car this morning. And one in the trunk. At 7 in the morning. My mom was driving me to school and we had to pull into a gas station and gently coax frogs out of the car for a good ten minutes.
