Um. Julia interview. I ran out of words.

Okay no I didn't. PLZ NOT TO BE RUNNING AWAY AND OPENING A BAKERY, JULIA. Unless it is a bakery, like, here in my neighborhood. But then I would be stalky and that would be bad.

I love how SMART she is, wtf. Like I don't even care if she sings, I just want her to TALK about stuff! Also, can I have the interviewers' job please?

Okay, must stop watching Youtube and flailing and go study some more. IN 24 HOURS I'LL BE DONE.

I think it's hilarious that her second career - or at least the first one that comes to mind - is baking. Mwahahaha. I want her to open up a diner selling pancakes, please. I hear those are awesome.

Isn't she just... SO articulate? I think there's got to be a certain amount of that in the people I flail over. I cannot abide stupid people in RL, much less with my fandoms. And Julia is just. Smart. ♥

GOOD LUCK WITH THE STUDYING. Hang in there!! For me, there is sleeping to be done.

Hm. If Julia opens a bakery, I am applying for a job. I can bake!

Even Amanda last night was like, "You know, I really like Julia's sense of humor. I like that she's more than just a performer." (I think we may make a fangirl out of her yet!)

I am...uh, studying. Clearly. *FACEPALM*

*weeps* I CAN'T bake, she'd throw me out before I set the place on fire. DAMMIT.

Hee, I approve of Amanda being... slowly brought over to the dark side. And honestly, I think I love Julia's dorkiness at least as much - if not more - than her acting/singing prowess etc. Plus, girlfriend sees herself as an actress first. I appreciate and applaud that.

Uh... I... am... sleeping?

I woke up this morning and the universe said, "Guess what Robin, that woman who you thought was already awesome? Well she's answering questions you would ask her and proving to be more awesome in the process."

GAH. She's articulate and snarky and humble, and and and her favourite costars! ALKSDFJLKJASDFALSKDFJALSKDFJKJ

What are you talking about, she totes said that her favourite co-star was Kyle MacDaniel. FAIL, JULIA. ;)

But. Yes. That interview kind of made my night. It also kept me up a LOT longer than I intended, prevented me from mailing out my theatre schedule, and basically just ruined any attempt I might have made at being a human being. Thanks much, Julia. Thanks much.

Oooooooooh! That soup! :: wants ::

Obviously that's now jumped up on the list of stuff I want for CNYE dinner this January :) Nevermind the other soups. ;)

Oh, and YaY Julia! :)

It was YUMMY. It'd have been my favourite thing of the NIGHT (because I'm shallow that way) if the epic Julia interview hadn't surfaced! ;)

Get this soup for CNY. IMPERATIVE.

BTW, are you still trying for a NY trip in January?

Traditionally, it's shark fin soup or else bird nest soup, but I'm going to see if I can lobby for a new rendition ;D It's not like our table isn't going to be of the 'there's no more ROOM for soup' nature for that night (or what I call the meal that is really three meals at once).

Yes, I'm about a week away from sorting out if I can go in January or not.

Now that ALNM has shifted from the Nokia Theatre to Studio 54, I have a better idea of sight lines and such.

MMMMM. CNY DINNER. This is why I'm leaving NYC two days earlier than planned (curses), but it also means lots of happy food, which is good. :D

Good luck on sorting out January! And I really do hope you get into ALNM. I had wanted to see that myself, but I'll be kind of showed-out for the entire fortnight, so I thought maybe a low-key concert might be better for my nerves. ;)

I totes worked at a bakery all through college, too, so if she opens it in Akron I'll gladly work early mornings before the zoo. lol

That soup sounds amazing. Not gonna lie.

I have to ask you something, but I also have to leave right now to go to the doctor. Is email the best way?

I'd have married that soup if it were, you know, animate. (But then that would be scary.)

I keep saying I'm going to bed and I mean it now. I can't believe it's 3.41 in the morning. Tomorrow will kill me.

But yes - email away, I'll get to it.

BTW I READ YOUR FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS. IT MADE ME SO HAPPY. You, me, Alex, and a lot of awesome food, kthx. XD

Oh, my true loves in life are called dim sum, kim chee, etc.. I think I just pretend I'm not attracted to Asians. :P

3:41 is early for you. This is how I look at it.

Glad you enjoyed reading. Although I don't know when there will be time for food with all the theatre you are going to. ;)

(I left out a lot of midtown pre-theatre kind of places, because I feel like anything in that neighborhood is almost self-evident. But I can think of a couple of nice places for that too.)

Now that all the shows are closing, we'll have plenty of time for eating :P

Seriously - the list is amazing. We could do lunches at some of those places too to squeeze more in? I'm hungry just thinking about it :D
