1. I have a sneaking suspicion I might be narcoleptic. I shall have to test this theory by actually getting regular amounts of sleep at night to see if I still fall asleep at random points in the day, but wtf. I slept quite well and quite a lot the night before and still I was COMPELLED to sleep throughout the day at work. WTF. Is it because I have ( Read more... )

I will send audio to you as soon as I get home. I'm not always great with setlists unless I really know all the songs. But I'll try.

Awww thank you! ♥ Now I just need to figure out how to download stuff while I'm on vacation in Melbourne. ARGH, too complicated. ;)

1. LOL, sorry, but narcolepsy was a running joke with my friends in high school and now I can't think about it without laughing. If you DO have it, is there a way to medicate/treat it? You could have a REGULAR SLEEP SCHEDULE, wtf!

5. Have never heard of those books, but yay for reading! I approve.

7. I'll TRY to come online and flail, but I'll have houseguests (absinthelisa and ainsleyaisling), so it will depend a bit on them. Maybe it'll be a MASS FLAILING PARTY online! (Also, I think I'm more excited about Natalie Toro's concert the night before than about Julia's - WTF is wrong with me???)

1. LOL I am halfway kidding about narcolepsy but seriously I can fall asleep at the drop of a HAT. Surely that is wrong somehow? You disappeared off chat in one of my downtime moments. Sigh. D:

I'm trying to get more regular hours to get over this unusual sleepiness. It's been especially bad this week!

5. OMIGOD. Never heard of Xanth?! *cries* It's now expanded into some kind of wacky insane franchise that only diehard completists like me would follow, but the first nine books were epic fantasy. EPIC. So inventive and fun. ♥

7. A massive online flail party would be AWESOME. I totes approve. You can all come online. I only hope I'll be able to find a way to be online too while I'm in Australia, country of epic internet fail! D:

HOW IS IT THAT YOU'RE MORE EXCITED ABOUT NATALIE TORO'S CONCERT. Is this some kind of coping mechanism? Because it surely can't be the truth. :P

1. It is pretty odd about your falling asleep instantaneously! Is that what happened earlier? Sorry for disappearing - I had to go sit in on a consultation and didn't want to leave my email randomly open in the middle of the intern room. :-P More regular sleep is a good idea!

5. Oops. I find it odd that I've never heard of it, since even though I mostly read YA fantasy, my mom reads the adult kind - so I should have seen it lying around the house or something, but nope! Maybe I'll check it out at some point. You know, with all my free time.

I don't KNOW why I'm so excited about Natalie Toro's concert! (Maybe because it's free and includes a free drink, LOL.) No, really though, I think I'm just looking forward to something new and different, plus all the recent drama has made me a little twitchy about big Julia events - not to the same extent as Leslie, but you know. :-\

1. I can't remember if it's what happened earlier. I might have just drifted off. But the random sleepage is NOT SO GOOD.

5. I think the reason you haven't heard of it is that the first book in the series came out before you were born? And I think either the year or the year before I was born. Insanity. I only know about it because my brother introduced me to it.

Can't wait to see what you think of BOTH concerts. REMEMBER TO POST ABOUT THEM, PLZ. So I can live vicariously through you.

7. I can do two out of those three which is what's really important, right?

Heck, if you want I can update the setlist via Twitter as it goes.

What, you mean you won't be flailing in capslock? But that's COMPLETELY UNLIKE YOU. ;-)

I don't see why I have to when so many others do it for me. :P

.. okay, maybe you're right. But look, I DID lapse into caps the night I saw She Goes.

Notice nearly four years ago I already wanted to learn how to use Pro Tools. I am a slow-moving entity.

Aw, that's so cute - a whole sentence in capslock! It's good to know there's something that can crack your stoicness, even if it does take something as amazing as She Goes.

1) A regular sleep schedule. Wow. That would be pretty impressive.

4) At least you use your dork powers for good.

5) Xanth! Freaking Xanth! Are you kidding me? OMG - I freaking LOVE those books! (Though they have degenerated into little more than a pun fest)

7) *Whimper* Me too. I am hoping, though I do not believe I have friended the ENTIRE LJ Murneyverse, for many reviews and much sharing for those of us who cannot be there.

1. I'm going for it! I might get to bed before 2am tonight! *shock horror*

4. LOL MY DORK POWERS. Man. I really AM just a huge dork. *cries*

5. OMIGOD XANTH TOO?! WTF! did we share brains as kids or something? I ADORE them! Even now, when the series is just so tired and a retread and by no account great literature (though I think the first few books WERE), I love it just because the characters and world and PUNS are so familiar! ♥ Are you all caught up? I'm reading Stork Naked now.

7. My flist will EXPLODE, I think. No worries, there will be reviews and sharing, I'm sure of it. I just wish I could be there!!

4) There is no shame in it. Dork is the new awesome. ;-)

5) Puns are just delicious. I am a sucker for them. Alas, I am behind by a book or two. The last one I read was Pet Peeve.

7) Me too. I have no fear that between the people who are on my f-list, and the f-lists of my f-list, there will be a plethora of information available. I am still, however, looking for a deal on a plane ticket. :-)

5. Awww, I think I read Pet Peeve last year. There are only two new ones since, though - Stork Naked and Air Apparent. Well, three if you count the hardcover one that JUST came out. *in such a Xanth mood now*

7. You're still thinking of going? You'd better reserve your tickets FAST.

if I could find a BLOODY PDA I could flail at you the whole 10 hour bus ride home. But no! No one is selling them!
Maybe I should look in NY. Anyone know a good electronics store in Manhattan?

Hey question - you guys are staying here the night AFTER the concert, yes? Or is it the night before? And when are y'all getting here? [/interrogation]
