1. Omigod. I left work at 2.30 in the morning. I am made of so so so much LOSE. But at least... well, I'm trying anyway... to not go into work this weekend. Surely I can do it?! That was the POINT of staying until 2.30am!! Bah. My work life is about to embark upon an ever more terrifying downward spiral over the next few weeks. I know it. *weeps* I

MAMA LOOKS GOOOD!! YUM!
And hee I can't help but think of the cuteness that is Dolly Parton and smile. You can't help but get infected with her positivity somehow.
But yes back to Allison!!!! ALLISON!!! OMG!!
How come I've not yet seen the lantern carrying kids? I love seeing lantern carrying kids.

Don't you ever? I think you can see them if you wander around in the Clarke or Boat Quay areas sometimes, and certainly around housing estates?
Maybe I'm remember it from a LONG TIME AGO and they don't do this anymore!? *sobs*

And yes gah I LOVE DOLLY! I actually prefer her version of I will always love you than Whitney's version. My guilty pleasure: Country music and the Dixie Chicks. LOL!
Yeah I saw this lantern thing last year at the playground below my flat but this year there's no signs of the kiddies!
I love to see the unique lanterns they have, like idk Nemo Lanterns was a big hit way back when!

I'll have to go find out more about Dolly then. ;)
Awww about no kiddies. D:
LOVE YOUR ICON.

Now that I've read the Wiki article, I totally want to try a mooncake. Perhaps minus the egg yolks - those sound weird, but I'm obsessed with red bean/mung bean fillings. I think I fail, though - I was in SF during their big Mid-Autumn festival celebration and didn't bother walking the six blocks to investigate. Oops.

If you went down to Chinatown today or tomorrow, it'd still be about the right time! You might be able to get some mooncakes yet, I think.

4. Yay, taking too! More music!
5. Really? I like mooncakes (sans yolk), but there aren't any good ones here. So fatty though... And it's really weird 'cos here it's just turned spring. And I've never seen people put pomelo rinds on their heads...

4. XD Cheno = WIN.
5. Oh it's just me, I think - I really can't stomach mooncakes, they're way WAY too rich. Wait a sec - are you Asian, by any chance? I ask only because most people haven't a clue what mooncakes are unless you're at least partly Asian.

5. Yep, Asian. :) I lived in HK for 4 years, then moved here. Hence, I really should know more Canto. So happy belated 中秋节!

5. Ooh, that's very cool indeed. :D I barely know any Cantonese and I grew up around people who spoke it all the time! Fail, me!!

But Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to you, Bsweetie. ♥
