This is without a doubt true. Seriously - I spent the whole day WAITING FOR THIS. And I couldn't stop listening to Don't Cry For Me Argentina when Robin uploaded it for me in the afternoon. It's SO BEAUTIFUL. LISTEN TO IT AND COME FLAIL WITH ME, OMFGJM.

OMG, do you know how hard it was to track this! Every song starts, like, IMMEDIATELY after, and everything is sung through. There are NO DIALOGUE TRACKS at all. I was so confused! And I had to use a lyrics site to track, except I failed and used the movie soundtrack version, and was, like, WTF, why are there so few lyrics?! Why is Julia STILL SINGING?!

BUT IT WORKED.

(I totes memorised where ALAYM was on my Kerry audio too. Because I loved it, and Oliver Tompsett.)

I just listened - it's so good!!!! I've never much cared for the song either, but Julia's version is amazing. Like you said, the amount of emotion and vocal skill that she packs into just four minutes is unbelievable.

The Murney better be performing in New York again in January when we are there - IT COULD HAPPEN, GIVEN OUR RIDICULOUSLY GOOD FORTUNE!!

I knew Julia had it in her to make it incredibly awesome, but I really thought it'd be a little cringey. I guess I associate Evita with Madonna and the cheesy movie (that I don't even REMEMBER, OMG, though I KNOW I watched it). I figured I'd love Buenos Aires more, since that's all belty belty. BUT OMG. THIS VERSION. *WEEPS* SO. PRETTY.

I really really REALLY hope she's doing something in January, that would be more incredible than I could say!! WE'RE ALREADY SEEING SUCH AWESOME PEOPLE. ADDING JULIA TO THE MIX WOULD BE THE BEST THING EVER.
