YOU ARE GOING ON SUNDAY?! OMG OMG. WHY BB. WHY ARE YOU WAITING SO LONG?

There are SOME spoilers in the non-capslocky review, but they're not the kind that would bug ME. Nothing about the plot and it's all very vague, but it DOES give my overall impression of the show. Minus the capslock flail, of course, since I had to present a semblance of dignity in the review. :P

It's entirely up to you whether you want to give it a shot though.

I'm glad it didn't spoil you and you're STILL excited. You can come back to the capslock flail another time, when you HAVE seen it. XD

I've added you and will try to remember to log onto AIM more often! I'm ellixian5, because I'm retarded and signed up for ellixian ages ago and can't figure out how to hack my way back into that account. :P

Awww. Someone who thought the movie was not awesome either, huh? :(

It's kind of stupid - very random credit rolls through random things, from oil-like substance, to cliffs, to tumbling seas, and then there's this whale swimming through the sea and suddenly you focus on a rowboat from a bird's eye view. After a while, though it's not hugely clear, it becomes obvious that Mulder is rowing the boat and Scully is in it lounging back and looking happy. They wave at the camera. THEY ARE ROCKING THE SWIMSUITS.

It is cheesy. CHEESY. But they are rocking the swimsuits... Sigh. I'm so EASY.

OK, I am just back...I will read your write-up in the morning, I am exhausted. I did want to say one thing....I LOVED IT!!! I sure hope there will be more. They still have such chemistry. I love their relationship, the good and the bad. I love that he shaved his scratchy beard for her! More tomorrow. bs, X-sausted

ok first let me just say i am complete fail for not staying after the credits. i did stay. but then me and my sis realised that we're the last ppl in the movie theatre so we upped and left.

I THINK AFTER WORK I AM GOING TO GO WATCH THE 3 O'CLOCK SHOW ! I DON"T CARE!
my sis cant go though. so i'll watch it ALONE. HMMPPH! why am i made of total FAIL?!
but if i do watch it alone then babe it'll be my virgin 'alone' movie and why not do it for XF. SOOOO WORTH IT!

and gillian was OMFG!!! I WENT OMG OMG THE WHOLE TIME. and kept poking my sister with my shoulder. HAHAH SHE GOT ANNOYED!

oooh and i just wanted to add that the plot was very mundane! as in not very X-filesy. THANK GOD FOR THE SHIPPY THOUGH! AND THE SPOONING. AND THE SCRATCHY BEARD. AND TELLING HIM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HALL THAT THAT'S WHY SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM! OR ELSE I'D THROW A HUGE FIT!
Gillian and David saved the movie for me. AND ITA for that THAT's WHY I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU moment, i must watch it again besides the end credits i didn't get to see!

Bah, I hope you went back for the end credits in the end. And the rest of the awesomely shippy scenes, mwahahaha. I still can't believe you've never watched a movie by yourself before - honestly man, it's ALL I DO, LOL. And it's fun, to be able to squee in the darkness by yourself and not feel obligated to have the other person like the film too.

YAY SHIPPINESS. CRAPTASTIC PLOT - OKAY, IT WASN'T THAT BAD, BUT IT WAS SO... MEDIOCRE AND NOT OMG AMAZING LIKE SOME OF THE ONES ON THE SHOW, YOU KNOW - BUT DAVID AND GILLIAN ASKDJASLDJALDJALSDHALSDHASLDA. HAVING THEM TOGETHER ONSCREEN IS JUST SO WORTH IT. AT SOME POINT I WILL ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO GO AND SEE IT AGAIN. FLAIL FLAIL.

bah i didnt! i forgot i had to tutor. but in the end it got cancelled and by then it was too late cos i had to meet friends for dinner. but monday maybe. to kill the monday blues. i need the shippery! BADLY.

and haha yes i am so going to be squeeing in the darkness. and might end up being the only one who'll stay to watch the end credits. hee.

Yes it wasn't all THAT bad. but it was like you said mediocre. it felt like a filler episode. or just an extended episode.
BUT YES DAVID AND GILLIAN....OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG! They're the ONLY REASON FOR XF, really.
AND U MUST U MUST! maybe after watching it for the second time we'll have different perspectives. :P

Why aren't you a movie critic again? You have a way with words and you can flail like nobody's business.

I'm sorry the movie isn't as good as you guys had hoped. The general consensus among critics seems to be the same. You guys got me so curious that I read up on it.

Awwww! *blushes* Thank you - you're so sweet! It'd be a dream job, for definite. Whether I'm good enough to be paid enough to survive is another thing. ;)

And yeah, the movie itself, as a whole, wasn't great. But the shippy moments were epic. So if you treat it as a movie made for the fans - I think we'd be willing to forgive a LOT.
