I THINK WE ARE ALL AGREED ON THIS AND HOW MUCH IT FAILS. It pains me even more that even the non-smutty fics sound like they're written by teenagers though. OMG. House and Cuddy are not high-school seniors. They are like lions in a gladiator arena who just happen to be MFEO.

I have so many things to reply to that I don't know where to begin!!!

Maybe I shall start from the fics, because YES I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! I think there's only about two post-finale fics that are pretty decent, okay maybe one. Idk if it's just fics in general because I'm facing the same problem for my other fandoms and I've right about given up waiting for a fic that will blow my mind for those fandoms.

But if you want something from someone who's smart and literate :P, lieueitak has this fic, The Gift of Screws, multi-chapter, about House/Cuddy 5 years after Cuddy chooses him over Lucas. It was written pre-finale but it somehow fits into the whole post-finale loving. It's really really good and ooh so smutty. And very realistic in the way their relationship is portrayed

Can I just say that my favourite thing about this? I posted at some insane time like 4+ am and you replied before I'd even gone into work later the same day. XD

I'm not even looking for MINDBLOWING fics, I hardly think anything I could come up with would be mindblowing. I'm just looking for... good. OUR FIC USED TO BE GOOD. Like, the tweenagers and silly people shipped House/Cameron, didn't they?!! Actually, to be fair, there isn't even a LOT of fic out there anymore... I don't know about the House/Wilson fandom, but it does feel like House/Cuddy fic just slowly disappeared in the period I was away. :(
