I had crabs.

1. Enormously quick drive-by post to say - no, I'm not dead; yes, my life has been mostly boring (honestly, it's just been work, stoning at home, catching up on emails/comments and planning for NYC). I was GOING to go to bed when LJ conked out a while ago, but I hit refresh one more time and its back, so ( Read more... )

randomness, housespam, marvellous wonderettes, om nom nom nom, meryl streep, movies

What even, Victoria McSassy Matlock? How is that much talent all rolled into one person? I mean, an etsy store? WHAT EVEN.

I am with you on mourning Wonderettes so hardcore before it's even closed. When it finally does, I will likely be a hot mess. But meh, at least it's making me want to finish oodles of fic.

I honestly have NO idea how someone can be this talented and sweet and amazing. How does one SING and also be able to paint and make jewellery and AUGH. Do not understand.

I'm mourning it a lot. It's not good. :( I still get to see it one more time and that's still not enough. Urgh. NEVER WANT IT TO CLOSE.

I'm sorry about the itchying, but maybe that batch of crab was just bad or didn't agree with you. Because once I ate lobster that was dirty or bad and along with my grandmother had a terrible reaction to it, but we decided it was that lobster, and I've eaten it plenty of times since with no problem. Because I don't even like lobster that much but it would destroy me to have to give up shellfish. :P

Perhaps it WAS a bad batch, but it tasted quite lusciously fresh. I honestly have never ingested that much crab in ONE sitting, so I do think that was probably it... it wasn't a severe allergic reaction by any stretch of the imagination, so it's not gonna stop me from eating crabs in future. DEFINITELY not giving up on shellfish. XD

ACK, that EW, I wants it. So much looking forward to that movie.

And babeeee, we haven't even (or have we?) discussed the Alec-presenting-the-Oscars news? Pretty damn awesome, y/y?

Yeah, I obviously don't have anything important to say. Feel better! ♥

I cannot WAIT until it appears on shelves here so I can buy it for myseeelf. OMG.

We have so NOT flailed about the Alec-presenting-the-Oscars awesome. I notice you forgot Steve Martin ;), but OMG ALEC. I want them to sass the crap out of Meryl when they're presenting. Better yet, get her in on the joke too. That would be INCREDIBLE.

♥ for you!!

I hope you stop itching soon. Can you take some anti histamine?

The itching was still there in the morning, but not for too long. It's gone now! Thanks though, hon. ♥

Aww Shawne! I'm so sorry you're left so uncomfortable after such an awesome meal, that's unfair :( (But the ten-year-old boy in me can't help but giggle at the combination of crab + itching *hides*)

Victoria's blog is so much fun!

It IS unfair - and I can't believe you were the only one who picked up on the 'crabs' and itching thing. XD I totes titled my entry in... a bluntly dodgy way. Because I'm apparently a ten-year-old boy too. ;)

Victoria's blog is adorable!! I love how into her sewing she is.
