1. I really have to go to bed, I have comments and my flist to catch up on, and it's so HOT these days I feel like I'm melting even though I'm indoors with the air-conditioning on. But I just had to say happy birthday to my little show that could, even though it's technically not even September 14 here anymore:

3. I can't even explain how much that season finale killed me. I CRIED. I've never even cried at Next to Normal! What they did with Zack made me SO MAD, because it's just a horrible representation of Aspies (ish, since they've never actually said he is one) and not only is that not what needs to be on the tv, it was really freaking sad. BLAH. /rant

3. OKAY, so it's not just me? Because it feels so much like they... just wanted the season to go out with a BANG and didn't care so much about... you know, the rest of it. Logic, tying up loose ends, giving the character his due. I mean, if they wanted to go this route, fair enough - but it just felt as if it popped up out of NOWHERE. I guess if they didn't have a truncated season, they might have fleshed it out more and tied it in with Zack's post-traumatic stress disorder from Iraq or something. Maybe. Whatever, it still felt like such a rude, terrible way to see off the character. I LOVED ZACK. D:
And can I just say, the Angela/Hodgins thing that happened within the first two episodes of Season 4 is VERY UPSETTING. Did they decide to stop caring about characterisation now? Stupid, horny Cam. FAIL.
BTW, I can't believe you didn't cry at N2N. It's... all I do. D:

3. Grah. Hate that episode. But love the Brennan & Zack parts of it, especially that scene at the end. Too bad the show sacrificed logic in favor of knocking the wind out of the audience. Poor Zack. D:
(How much of Season 4 have you seen? Don't want to spoil you.) I wound up not hating Season 4 as much as I'd expected. The show redeems itself a little, though it remains somewhat off the rails.
Nope, never cried at N2N. But then again, the only show (including movies) I've cried at in recent memory is...In the Heights. All three times I've seen it. No, I don't have any idea what's wrong with my crying reflex. :-P

I've only seen the London opening for Season 4 - nothing beyond that yet! I'll get down to it though. I'm looking forward to it. I know this show can be wacky, so I'm... prepared to embrace it.
I'm still astounded you've never cried at N2N, you must have tear ducts of steel... I clearly don't. D: I wept at ITH though. But then again, I really shouldn't be using MY tear ducts as a gauge, since mine are so faily.
I finally understand your icon. I LOVE IT, BWAHAHAHA.

I need to catch up on quite a lot myself, but it's a great show! Glad you're getting so into it right now. :)
Emily Deschanel is adorable!
I'd read some quotes from that interview, but I'd never watched it til now. Her courtroom story was hilarious! :D
I can't wait to see what happens with the show this season!
