ETA: And with Sen. McCain's congratulatory address, I am switching from rum to champagne. And crying.

ETA2: And when California has fully reported, I'll be a human lawn sprinkler, one way or another, and am drunk enough to say so.

ETA3: Via violetisblue:

Good for you.

Have you seen the NYT's interactive map? It's got county-by-county results. I was shocked to see that both Albemarle County and Nelson County went for Obama, but I guess the demographics there have changed a *lot* since I first started visiting there.

NYT has Obama ahead in Loudoun, 52.6%-46.7%, with 92% of the precincts reporting. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I think it's looking good.

As many times as we've been accused of socialism in the past few weeks, vodka is probably the right drink. Bottoms up, comrade.

I just cracked open a beer, myself.

OHIO LOVES ME THOUGH, so I am optimistic.

There are still people running around and cheering outside in my apartment complex. It's awesome. Two dudes with dreads have pots and spoons and keep yelling "Yes We Can!" and singing Ohio songs.

I am toasting those dudes from afar this very moment. *glomps you*

My county was blue up to 80% reporting but switched to red when it reached 89%. Maybe we'll flip back to blue at 100%.

Looks like the red/blue is all over so far as the presidential race is concerned… but the numbers on Ca's Prop 8 are making me want to cry. Not in the good way. Still, only 9% in; we'll see. I guess.
