I am filled with squee for your little fics. They are all awesome - although, strangely I find myself disturbed by the Two/Martha/Jamie one and I don't know why. The Martha & Nine fic makes me sad though - I would love to see more of that.

Also - Doctor Who/Pulp Fiction crossover? That idea is so cracky that I want to see it yesterday!

I don't know if this is what you meant, but the Two/Martha/Jamie one would have disturbed the hell out of me if it had been remotely serious on account of what turns out to be the Doctor pushing Jamie a bit out of his comfort zone. As it's pure crackfic, I'm not too concerned about my morality, but I do think it would be more effective if I could write that out. /over-analysis

*discreet cough* Now accepting applicants for the position of "plot"…

I couldn't really put my finger on what it was that disturbed me. It wasn't anything major or some huge squicky thing. Although, now that you mention it, maybe the slightly coercive vibe is what I was picking up on. I think it might just be a metal image that went wonky in my brain more than anything though. :)

Plot for a Doctor Who/Pulp Fiction cross over? If I were writing it, I would drop the Doctor and Companion into Jack Rabbit Slim's. It seems like it would be the easiest way to jump in. Plug something into that space in the movie between the Twist contest and Vincent taking Mia home. Aliens disguising themselves as celebs from the fifties? Jack Rabbit Slim's as the meeting place for alien travelers?

I adore the Nine/Martha one - I understand completely how she feels (I'm sorry, but an E-natural and an F-flat are just not the same notes, sir!), and I've also always had a feeling Nine and Martha would have worked beautifully. I also like the way that the two timelines are running in opposite directions - very nice touch.

*LOVES YOU RATHER A LOT FOR THAT* Erm, that is, no, they're not. Not that I ever angst over that, as a keyboardist, or anything.

And thank you!

"Damn you, equal temperament!" ::shakes fist::

/Jon Stewart

(Although it does allow us to play in A-flat and D-flat, two of my favourite lovely, dark keys, so I guess it all balances out.)

I got such flak from my band director for that one, but I was serious! I play bassoon! Depending on how I curve my tongue, I can give you nearly a whole step's difference in the throat register, and I definitely do not play an E-natural and an F-flat in the same way! (It was an atonal piece, so I couldn't even go by function.)

Eh, he was a drummer. ;-)

I'd love to see more Nine and Martha from you, btw.

It's not just equal temperament, though; it's any temperament. I'm thoroughly in love with what the keyboard can do in all sorts of temperaments (DeMorgan temperament FTW!), but there's no getting around the fact that it distributes the comma for you. I get v. emo whenever string players with whom I'd like to play are lying around, smirking and talking about how a string ensemble with piano will never sound as good as an all-string group. WOE.

Eh, he was a drummer.

I've known some fantastic drummers, but the jokes are easy for a reason.

I'd love to see more Nine and Martha from you, btw.

Alas, I love him, but I don't seem to have the faintest inkling what to do with Nine in a fanfic.

It'll never happen, but I can't help wishing for a Nine/Martha audio adventure. Even more than I do a Nine/Martha TV adventure, actually; there's just something about the thought of Agyeman's slayingly adorable voice next to Eccleston's Northern accent that really does it for me. :D

(Hee! Can't help being tickled that a drabble about isoamyl acetate has gotten such cheerful reception.)

These are so very awesome. I especially love the ones with TWO. (But then, I am predicatable like that.)

Predictability is a virtue, in this case.

How is it that I don't remember that drabble you wrote for me and persiflage_1? Because it's beautiful.

I adore the other ones as well (Martha/Two/Jamie!), but the last one -- well, as I read it, I was thinking, "How could you call this bad porn? It's way better than most of the stuff I see," and then I got to the end and MY BRAIN EXPLODED.

Thank you. Must write the TARDIS more often, I think.

and then I got to the end and MY BRAIN EXPLODED.

Pleased to be of service.
