What grad schools are you thinking of applying? I ask for reasons of thinking of applying myself, as well as friendly curiosity.

Ah, I took some GREs and applied several months ago and then decided BAH not this subject. (Subject being not lit). Lit, I've no idea, other than going back to where I got my BA for it. Which is one I'm a bit fond of, gotta say.

Unfortunately, "I have no idea what it really going on in this book, but I had a very good time not knowing" is probably not a workable thesis in itself

Well, it should be, especially for that book.
