I really, really love all of these. You write from three very different men's POVs, and yet you capture them all with precision and insight.

Thanks! And thanks for getting me to try Eko.

I liked these. You got the three voices right, and the pieces are very appropriate for each--Eko recognizing the monster as kin, a survivor as much as any other island inhabitant, and forgiving it; Miles irascible and aware of the reckless stupidity that he is helping with, mourning with snark his last connection with the freighter; and Richard the endless, enjoying things which are finite, brief and mundane (those were good examples, too, the meal, book and coup are all things I bet Richard can enjoy--how many coups must he have seen, from his position as island referee?).

Thank you for such detailed feedback. I am still not 100% happy with the Richard one. He is so hard to get a handle on.

Oh very well done. These all capture these men so well! ;-)

Not to be critical, but should that 'due' in the last one be 'do'? It would make more sense if so.

Thank you.

Thanks for pointing out the typo. I had not noticed! That was great of you.

Thanks! I really appreciate glaring errors like that being pointed out.

Ooh, these are lovely! Can't speak to the Daniel one, but I love the way you've given us such spare, rich images of Richard and Eko. They both have so many facets, and you've done an excellent job at choosing ones to illuminate and doing it brilliantly.

Thank you! Given how complicated these men are, the restrictions of a drabble helped set the mood. Thanks for reading and commenting.

That is my favourite too. Thanks for the great prompt and the feedback on all of them.
