happy thanksgiving

i thought maybe as we got closer to the day i would start regretting our desicion to forgo traditional foods in liue of eating all middle-eastern food. but that has not happened and i am as excited about it today as i was when it was suggested. now, if i can just get it all cooked ( Read more... )

Oh how nice! I'd love some of those recipes , esp. the almond-pistachio bars. All of that food sounds really healthy too. :)

it was pretty healthy... although not those almond-pistachio bars. made with real butter, real sugar and real cream, hahaha! i'll post the recipes today if i am able. (i share a computer with a busy law student.)

Mmmmm tabouleh (from a box)is one of my most favourite things! The homemade stuff is just not the same. Too much parsley for my taste.
I had some vegetarian dolmades at the cafe in Community Natural Foods in Calgary just a couple of days ago and they were to-die-for. :)

it all turned out so well! and, as a happy coincidence, it turned out that i was really the only person who enjoys tabouleh. i had made a double batch, so i am still in leftover heaven and will be for a few more days!! yea!!
