In November, I sang a group of Samuel Barber songs on a recital featuring his music at Earlham College, where I teach voice. The recording came out quite well. My accompanist, Carol Lou Woodward, was wonderful to work with. I'm never 100% pleased with a performance of mine, but I feel pretty good about this one. I'm enjoying working with some great new students as well as returning ones. Between Earlham, the music magnet at Broad Ripple High, and my private studio, I'm keeping pretty busy. As of today, I have two short stories which have made it out of slush piles and onto editors desks at pro markets.
