Now that's a career change

Sep 18, 2007 22:18

My previous boss recently made an appearance on WWE's Raw in which he was pantsed and beaten by Vince McMahon's illegitimate leprechaun son.

Clip available here. Just click on the "Adopt a Leprechaun?" video.

What is his career, exactly?

P.S. WWE = A National Inquirer LARP?

He was our COO. For WWE, he's a VP of Digital Media or somesuch, but their employees are occasionally called upon to fill roles in their skits. He's a big ol' ham, which makes this the perfect job for him.

I think your postscript is a pretty accurate assessment.

Man, I miss WWF. The WWE just doesn't seem as entertaining. Although I suppose it could be that I was much, much younger when I watched WWF.

Holy crap.

Please tell me that your office still has a viable email address for this guy so that you can all totally mock him. I mean, being beat up by Vince McMahon's illegitimate son is one thing, but being beat up by his illegitimate leprechaun son. Well, that's just not right.

One of my co-workers called him last night and reported that he loved doing it, which doesn't surprise me.

This is of course awesome. Does Connecticut recognize any form of human/sprite relationship as legally binding? If not, I'm afraid every leprechaun son Big Vince has will be a bastard.

I was wondering whether the son burst forth as a leprechaun or if he had some manner of procedure or unholy rite that resulted in the leprechaunism. Maybe he thought that would help open Vince's cold, cold heart?

Hard to imagine a sprite voluntarily consenting to relations with McM.

Hasn't anything postworthy happened in your life lately? ; )

Perhaps you need to go out more often. Are you going to tea on Sunday?

Plenty of noteworthy events, but perhaps not quite enough time to recap them. :)

I did finally post links to the photos I took on my trip to Asia, though I didn't say as much about them as I'd originally intended.

It's likely I'll make it to tea this week. I take it you're going?

Ah, I fall into the same trap sometimes.

I'd love to see some of the pictures from your trip. You were in China, weren't you? Anywhere else?

I am going to tea this week, though probably on the earlier side, around 7pm. See you there?

Beijing and Seoul were the two stops on my trip. You should be able to see to my photos on Flickr by following the links from my latest LJ entry; if you can't, let me know.

I plan to come by tea on the early side if possible, but since my other plans for tomorrow might run long, I'm not sure exactly when I'll be there.
