Hee I just got back from the charity screening of Serenity! I am SO glad I went to this. I even won one of the prizes after the movie!

Huh, I had a woman like that right behind me.. maybe you weren't far off from me!! heheh...

I also won prizes, twice *blush* with my two tickets... I gave my second, a copy of issue #1 of the comic with the Jayne cover, to my friend Andrea who's a total Jayne fan... the other prize I picked was a Serenity patch, very shiny! I was really interested in the pendants too... but I didn't get called that early on...

The dinner was ... well, service was slow, company was great... we had a really good time, and I met some great people... it's too bad you couldn't make it...

Anyway, nice to see someone local in this LJ place *G*

I was a couple of rows up from the reserved seating so there must have been a couple of ...intense... people around :) but hey as long as everyone had fun then it's all good. Some people just don't like draws if they don't win.

I read that the service wasn't too good at dinner but as long as you're with fun people that's not the worst that could happen :)
