I was going to write here, but then I went to my email and just wrote a LOOOOOT there.

There's nothing wrong with a routine day. :) My daily goals are to have me and Kosta washed and in clean clothes, and to brush my teeth before 2pm. If I have dinner cooked from scratch, it's an AMAAAAAZING day, and if I do an errand AND cook dinner, it's a day beyond compare! Expectations like that mean that I get a lot more joy out of my days.

Thanks for the messages! I edited the part about wishing for a routine day because I didn't like my tone. I meant to just write a review of some things from the past year. But I do think a routine day in so many ways is something welcome.

I didn't think you sounded bad :) I thought it was a good desire to have!

Wow, that's one heck of a year. Summed up in just one entry, it makes me very curious to know more about everything on your list.

Medical expenses are certainly ridiculous in the US, aren't they? I had to get some cavities done and I think I paid 700 dollars. My British friend is having some problems with one of his teeth and he has made continual visits to the dentist as he gets it fixed bit by bit. But each time is only about 10 dollars. And when I go to the hospital because I'm sick I also pay about 10 dollars to see a doctor and usually less than 10 dollars for the medicine they prescribe. It is actually really ridiculous to me now to think about American fees. Just to see the doctor in my hometown it's 80 dollars. And in Japan I could go to a doctor 8 times for that amount of money.

I'm feeling that way right now, too. Like I want to do something new. I guess it happens to all of us when we do something for a long enough time. I hope you can find something else that inspires you.
