Garb Blogging: Last of the Month!

I've been away from the blog this week, going through the copyedits for Liar's Moon (which is now finished)!  I haven't been this excited about a book in a long time. In fact, last night I had the whole night free--I had hours and hours and hours to stitch, and yet I decided to work on the copyedits instead!

I have that same coat! Or one that looks almost identical (I don't know where it's from, as it was a Christmas gift from my own husband last year, but I think Museum Replicas or similar). I love it -- so warm and nice to have a garby thing to wear when it's cold (like, say, Halloween in Maine).

Dude! We should totally go pillaging together. LOL

Hallowe'en in Kansas City can be so wildly varied. IIRC, this year it was sort of chilly and damp, but the first year we lived here, I wore shorts!

The coat looks lovely and warm. I have the corset book, and it's perfect for Victorian corsets.

Kate, I guess Conair makes a nearly identical advice for hairstyling that people say also works well for making the cord. I'm trying to figure out if there's then a way to make flange cord with your homemade cording...
