Why hi there, sexy!

Mmm, jealous or conniving - the jury's still out on this one XD

(Also, you like Divine Comedy? \o\

I need to respond to your journals more frequently, I do apologise

*makes it part of NY resolutions to respond moore*)

I can see Mycroft being ridiculously jealous of any relationships Sherlock has in any capacity. He says he's just "looking out" for his little brother when it's more like "I AM THE ONLY ONE ALLOWED TO HARASS HIM HOW DARE YOU STEP INTO HIS PERSONAL SPACE".

The music of The Divine Comedy or the book? Because I'm all over the music like the explosive spore of a mushroom.

HE'S CONSTANTLY WORRIED. :P These brothers certainly are something ahem- special.

The muuuuuuuuuuuuuusic! I was listening to Divine Comedy at the weekend and it was very, VERY nostalgic *catches that spore, cultivates and smokes it*

OMG this fic is great. :D I love your interpretation of Mycroft, I love the metaphor, I love how infernally patient he is. Good show!

Buh- Holy crap, how did you get here?!

Eeek, thanks! :o :o

This is not my sole interpretation of Mycroft, just what came out today (I always like one day writings when it happens, more than anything else - it seems so much more honestly raw) xD But yeah, I do love machievellian! My

And infernal patience, I apply to him in spades, with great empathy (as well as other things).

Cheers me dears. Really really. I think your stuff is awesome so...

My husband mellifluous_ink directed me here!

I have multiple versions of the characters, too--and yes, pieces done in one sitting always seem to turn out that way. :D

Well tell him thanks! Cos I realised recently that I do love your stuff, so this is a great honour. xD

And I also just realised what I said - dude, not meaning Mycroft being possessive of great empathy... now that would be scary >O (just me, greatly empathic of him. In being a fat bastard ahaha)

Everything that I enjoy of my own work tends to be written in 'one day' (more or less) sittings. Are your works so spontaneous too?

Mycroft has always been a favourite character and I do have a tremendous soft spot for the direction Gatiss chose, so am very glad it comes across as sinister, brilliant and all-knowing :) Nngn yeah, puberty, brains and chubbiness - tis a hard combination to survive D: Thank you very much for your comment :) And that's very sweet of you! o//o I'll see if anything else comes out anytime soon.

Poor Sherlock, having a horrible time at school, and he can't quite keep up with his brother yet - he's still only seven - I like his insisting that they already knew it was a fly! And Mycroft, teaching him, protecting him, and wanting him for himself.

For no man was a stranger to him, not once Mycroft took note

Wonderful line.

I know - I'm far too cruel to the boy. Hehe, isn't it darling? I was nowhere near as precocious a nipper as Sherlock but even I can (vaguely, very vaguely) remember being all insistent and adamant about things at that age. Oh, I love that sentence xD - you've given me a much better summary than I could have come up with, cheers me dears!

It was from that line that the fic fell out from :D Thank you very much for the comment :) much appreciated!

Wow, thank you very much! I may be slightly embarrassed now, but it is rather humbling to know people are still reading and enjoying this piece. Oh yes. Mycroft is a wonderfully byzantine kinda guy.
