Last year I ran an SCA event based on Moorish and Middle Eastern theme - well, the food and decorations were. It was fun and people seemed to like it, so I'm running it again on 6th September. Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer than it was in August last year, but I'm not sure the way this winter has been going ( Read more... )

I found out about it yesterday. I want to coooooooooooooome.

I need to organise myself and see if I can find somewhere to stay, I was jealous that I missed it last year - we want to attend :)

It would be lovely of you could come. I think our spare room is taken up that night - must check that these people are still coming. Even so, we can offer a tent and a big back garden- though it's still a bit cool here at night.

I think Andrew may have to work, so I'm not sure what's going on now. Still, if there *is* a spare room, I'd love to know, if it's not an imposition. :)

I'll try and find out whether said friend still needs it. We also have a comfy sofa, but it's a bit narrow.

And yeah... I owe you an email. Stuff has kind of come up and I am a)More forgetful than usual and b)Just really tired (not to mention a trip to the Terracotta Warriors coming up and an assignment due...)

Heh. I'm busy as well, so I completely understand. Envious of you getting to see the Terracotta Warriors - didn't make it there when we visited.
