Title: The First Time
Rating: R
A/N: A quick update before the holiday weekend! I realize it's very short, but since this one may make me persona non grata around here, maybe I was thinking ahead, so I can quickly post it and then run like the wind. I just want you all to remember the love, and the fact that we're all non-violent people. :) Have a

Naw I mean sure it's got to happen, I don't want Pepa alone.
But still the thought of NOT Silvia man that just makes it I don't know REALLY REAL. Hmmm I still say BASTARDS the lot of them.

You mean, it's okay if I come out? Or....*looks around suspiciously*....do you have friends hiding around here?
I don't want her alone, either, to tell you the truth. She's still young, and has lots of living ahead of her, and she deserves someone to share it with.
But, yeah, her moving on is bittersweet at best. We want her to be happy, but it's just tough to see her happy w/ someone else.
Okay, well, I trust you and all, swiftly, but I think I'm just gonna go duck out of sight again for a little bit...*zips back behind tree*

(I really couldn't stomach that scene at all on the show. It was just so wrong. And the production actually went to the trouble of promoting the Peker sex scene, but never promoted Marián Aguilera's return for the Ghost!Silvia scene -- blasphemy!)
Well, this chap brings to mind another similar situation on another show. Sorry for this little spiel, but please bear with me.
I don't know if you ever watched Buffy, but a lot of viewers were seriously ticked off when Willow/Tara came to a brutal end with Tara's death. Personally, I never shipped for Willow/Tara -- they basically made very little sense to me as a couple, because both characters were so similar, and you just didn't really understand what they saw in each other. I could have bought them as BFFs, but as a couple? I ( ... )

Yeah, I definitely like that you make the new girl seem to have a different personality than shy/awkward Silvia (who used to have severe trouble meeting Pepa's stares in the beginning ;-) ).
As their relationship moved forward, how did the Pepa/Silvia relationship affect it?A storyline I would have liked to see explored (had the producers/writers been sincere to their craft, which they weren't), is whether the ghost of Silvia would keep haunting Pepa's new relationship. That often happens in R/L -- when people lose partners to death, their new partners feel like they're constantly competing with ghosts. That could have been a powerful follow-up storyline to the end of PepSi ( ... )

Pepa w/o Silvia doesn't seem to make much sense, does it? :( But maybe, just maybe, Marta will do okay by our brunette. If I have anything to say about it, she will. And as it turns out, I DO get to have a little input. LOL. So she'd better be good to her, or I have a feeling I will have some 'splainin' to do!

No, when ep 104 aired I was one of the only people around that was like, "No, Pepa can't be alone. Just because Silvia's gone, doesn't mean that Pepa has to leave earth too! She should find someone and be happy" In fact, I think I tried to debate that point over at the AE column. But as soon as S9 aired I changed my tune all too quickly and the next thing I knew Pepa was with Deker and I almost threw up. xD This here update of yours isn't horrible and actually a good way to handle anonymous chick who appeared for all of two sec. at the end of the series. But I still don't like it! xD

Yeah, I don't want her alone either. She's got a long life ahead of her, she shouldn't be alone for the rest of it! The idea of there being someone else isn't a terrible one, it's just that the show executed it rather poorly and abruptly. But I definitely want to see her happy again too!
You know, I thought for a few minutes about Nun!Pepa vs. BadAss!Pepa, but really, which one would YOU rather see??
