A better morning

C worked from home this morning to cover the delivery slot, if needed. It was, indeed, much needed as the tree loppers turned up at 8.00ish to finish the job next door. As a result, I took A for a walk in her pram at 8.45, and she managed a 30 min nap (about the longest she will ever sleep in the pram), which was good. And yes, the PC turned up in ( Read more... )

Poor A!! Tree loppers have no consideration...!!

Some babies never settle to a pattern and she will sleep if she is really tired. (As opposed to a bit tired and cross). She may be picking up the vibes of your concern. Enjoy the awake times and get the washing done *g*

They don't - and I was informed this evening that they'll be back all Thursday morning... argh!!!

We had lovely awake times today (aside from some initial crying as a result of the noise). A was very chilled in the afternoon which made for some lovely mummmy-daughter time.

Yay for naps! It's so funny to me how different babies are: A will only sleep in her pram, Ben only ever wants to sleep ON us or being held in some way. :-)

I don't think A would fall asleep on us at all these days. She is still pretty cuddly at times, but seems to need to be alone to fall asleep. And she definitely needs quiet to go to sleep which is odd as when she was a baby we made sure the environment wasn't quiet so she would sleep in noise... ah well, the best laid plans!

Windows 7, not a fan. Too many holes for viruses to sneak through. Glad the tree people are done. Poor A to have to deal with them.

Unfortunately the tree men are back tomorrow morning... Not sure what we'll do. Probably another hot walk for a short nap, then home and out to a friends place. And hope that they are finished by the time we get back around noon.
