A better morning
C worked from home this morning to cover the delivery slot, if needed. It was, indeed, much needed as the tree loppers turned up at 8.00ish to finish the job next door. As a result, I took A for a walk in her pram at 8.45, and she managed a 30 min nap (about the longest she will ever sleep in the pram), which was good. And yes, the PC turned up in the time we were out, so good thing C was home.
Returned home to much noise which continued to upset A, so we shut ourselves in the lounge and played with noisy musical toys most of the morning. I spoke to the tree loppers at 11.30am and confirmed they had finished, so fortunately I was able to put her down for a nap at noon. She is just waking up now, so she had a very decent sleep. This was the daily pattern she used to be in, then she lost it weeks ago. Unfortunately I don't think one good day heralds the beginning of a new pattern, so we'll wait and see what the rest of the week brings!
And now she's awake I can put a load of washing on. Hooray! (The washing machine is directly outside A's room, so all laundry needs to be done during awake hours.)
New PC is weird. Windows 7 is different. My new screen is enormous. The new mouse is too light (will swap back to my old one), and the new keyboard also seems very light. But is much cleaner than my old one...!
