you are true about showing emotions now-a-days.

i dunno how to explain it other than i blame reality tv. think about it, most of them show over the top drama and they encourage and recruit people who do things like that. so we as a society get to the point where maybe we roll our eyes at some stuff instead of letting it hit home that this is an actual emotion.

other issues i think is some people don't know how to react. take me for example, tell me someone died and i get quiet and that's about it. i don't cry, i don't get sick and usually i just don't know what to say b/c some of the things people can/do say at emotional moments sound fake to me. i'd rather give a hug, which is more of a feeling to me, and then listen if need be.

i always hate getting bad news from people who don't know me b/c i fear that they will think i'm a bad person b/c of my reaction.

being labeled "emo" by people who have no emotion is a sign of jealously imo. i would respond "at least i can feel. and at least i care." <3
