I reread Atlas Shrugged every four years, as election seasons heat up.

If I like myself, I permit myself to skip The Speech.

I consider The Speech to be a separate novella included in the main novel.

I see it as more like Cliff Notes by someone on methamphetamines.

Someone once told me that The Speech can be ordered on cassette and CD and that it's only three hours long. I find that hard to believe -- the length, not the availability.
