My boss called to tell me that Gary Gygax died this morning. I was kind of broken up which was hard to explain. I mean, not hard to explain exactly. What was really thrilling was when Will told me that someone else on Slashdot said he wanted to pour out a 40 of Mountain Dew for his dead homey. It was comforting to know I was not the only person who thought of this.

I was much more affected than I expected to be. Much much much.

(I got kind of grouchy when the NPR chick was all "Womens don't play the D&Ds, y'alls!" Except she said it in NPR-speak.)
