My boss called to tell me that Gary Gygax died this morning. I was kind of broken up which was hard to explain. I mean, not hard to explain exactly. I just had to apologize, "I'm sorry, I wouldn't have expected me to react like this either." Which, actually, maybe we should have. I am not exactly steel in the face of sad news.
