I went to the Canadian National Exhibition yesterday. (Ow, my feet. Ow, my wallet. Oh, the midway! Haha! ...white glue and fishing line. I'm always teasing Frank that his punk rock car is held together by string and cellophane tape. And yeah, I know all about sewing machine abuse and broken needles. You've got something enviable there in the serger. Enjoy!

I think so... it has all the serging functions in it, including the knife. I'll have a look at the brochure. I was hoping the sales guy would let me test drive it on the spot, but my kids were being little buggers on Tuesday, and my son ran away from his grandma as I was in the sewing machine booth, so I had to cut everything short. That's why I get the test drive in the near future. I haven't bought it YET. It will be my third machine this year, and I'm thinking that while business is great right now, I'm going a little too fast with the chattels...

My husband's first car was a 1987 Nissan Sentra, and he used aluminum Coke cans and tape to patch holes in the exhaust system, by the time the 10-year mark rolled around. Oy.

P.S. I still owe you for that art meme. We'll talk later about that.
