I give you: THE UGLY OWL!  It's a stash-buster, what can I say? I didn't buy any flannelette for this baby... and I've had the pieces sitting in a plastic bag for MONTHS waiting for me to feel so much like not sewing that I had nothing better bundled for my Wednesday night sewing circle.

I got a new toy this summer. Had a date with DH on Saturday night, called in MIL to look after the kids, she stayed the night, I had to drive her home on Sunday.

Burda 9674 - my first successful Burda. I'm not sure what was wrong with me (or the pattern company) 6 years ago, but now these patterns aren't frustrating. Or maybe I'd just chosen a pattern that was 'way beyond my sewing ability back then. :-D
