I tidy up Bag End when there are shrieks and screams and tears being feigned down the hallway at the obligatory nightly fight between Mr. Frodo and Mr. Samwise. Maglor plays with the children outside but other than that, I do not know what he does. I have not been to Rohan in a long while, not since I decided to leave Theoden to his own devices ( Read more... )

I make lembas and attempt to protect Mr. Samwise and prank call Celegorm and write the silmaril letters.

Mr. Samwise hasn't really gotten hurt yet, but I cannot say the same for Mr. Frodo - but I cannot blame myself fully because I'm not quite good at protecting things physically.

Oh, I only got killed and eaten a little while ago.

At least you're back and not in pieces, Mr. Samwise. And I daresay that it will never happen again.

Thank you for the kind words, sir.

Maybe you should go back to Rohan some time, Lady Elfhild, and see your family.

It's quite alright, Mr. Frodo. I am happy where I stay.

I'll avoid attempting to figure out what schlub means and just apologize very very much for the whole kid thing. I didn't actually expect you to die.

I mourned you! And I didn't remarry or anything. And...yeah.

I think I lost my train of thought.

What *does* schlub mean?

It's quite alright - a very common occurence back then, yes?

And good for you! I appreciate what you have done, although you were perfectly free to have relations with whomever you pleased.

It's a little bit above 'nincompoop', I think, except with more affectionate connotations, I think. Or I could be completely wrong.
