smallclanger's head engaged in June. He made it to within 49 hours of being born in August. I would not worry too much before waters break. ;-)

It's a first baby, right? Firsts tend to engage early. Remember El was 10 days late? And he'd been engaged for weeks, so I wouldn't necessarily expect too much. (But being generally prepared for any eventuality is a good thing, of course!)
