Victorian Torchwood - Corset boning channels

Dec 12, 2008 00:26

Did lots of sewing tonight, and the boning channels are done. Now there is mainly handsewing and finishing off. Once I figure out exactly which bones go where.

Bit of a giggle earlier in the evening when I tried on the half done corset with the help of Mother. I think I had the lacing too tight, as there was a bit of a struggle.

Also, I seemed to keep hitting the resonance frequency of the dining table, as every so often as I sewed, the table began to judder quite violently.

In other news...

Sproglet's head is engaged apparently. It's not due till January, but Mother thinks it won't wait until Christmas. Brother and Sis-in-Law are coming this weekend, so I think it will be mobiles at the ready just in case of a dash to the hospital. This is the weekend where Both I and the parents are out on Saturday, Sunday lunch we are all at a Christmas meet up thing, and in the evening is Nine Lessons and Carols.

When would be the most awkward time for the little one to make an apperance?
