Victorian Torchwood - Corset eyelets

Done the eyelets.

Not the usual kit you would expect to see when dressmaking; a hammer, an awl, a hair stick and a paint brush. And Father's old drawing board comes in handy again.

I had started by using a pencil to enlarge the holes, but after breaking two and making very slow progress, I remembered the spotting brush that resides with my make up brushes. the more gradual taper was just what I needed, and I got on much quicker after that.

Unfortunately, all this handling of the cloth has made it a little grubby, so I shall probably give these pieces a quick rinse before sewing them on to the rest.
