I quite enjoy painting, even though I don't do it much. But then there are things that I can't draw to save my life, like humans, especially bodies - I'm really rubbish at those.
I'm in awe of people who are really good with words and can write interesting stories :-)
That's one nice thing about fandom - people contribute different things, depending on what they're good at. Some write fanfic, some make icons, some do fanvids, some draw fanart ... . If we can just stay clear of the wank, all is well :-P
This icon of yours was one of my very first icons on LJ, back in 2005 during the first series of NewWho. I'm really attached to it - it reminds me of the time when I got started with LJ. (That's three years ago - blimey, time flies.)
