I dreamt last night about my stash of Sassy magazines.

Oh, how I used to love and savor those things. I'd look forward to the beginning of every month when I knew it would be coming in the mail and I'd have one glorious afternoon pouring over every page with a glass of lemonade and a bag of plain Doritos -- that was the ritual. There has been no magazine since then that even compared. Sassy was great

i used to love that magazine so much. i, too, read it cover to cover, sitting in the floor of my bedroom, back leaned up against the bed. i saved every one of them, too, and have also lost track of them. it IS too bad, because that was an amazing magazine! the subsequent "Jane" is so lame incomparison that i don't even know how the editor, jane whatsername, could even bear to put her name and money into it. i never thought about looking for issues on ebay...

I her downfall was that she was entirely too impressed with herself. That article says one of the most annoying things about Jane magazine is that very self-praising attitude.
