Don't "Blink"!

That was the most amazing episode of Doctor Who ever. Just phenomenal.

The world needs more television like this. And more of Carey Mulligan. And writing by Steven Moffat, who wrote three of the better episodes of the last couple of seasons of DW (and a bunch of Coupling, the better, sexier Britcom from which Friends devolved). And the director ( Read more... )

I must agree. The last few episodes have sort have gotten on my nerves. With the Doctor YELLING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS WHILE THE MUSIC KEEPS HAMMERING! BECAUSE HIS GIRLFRIEND IS IN TROUBLE!
But "Blink" was bloody marvelous! Glad I stayed up for the 1:00Am show.....
....cause I keep forgetting it's on....

BTW, there is no difference twixt Schrödinger's cat and mine...'cept I have to clean the litter boxes....

It's very sweet how he's so protective of his Companions, but good Lord. They trashed that whole conceit for "Blink" and holy cow!

The new Dr. Who has been *wonderful*. And I love his companions! I didn't care much for David Tennant at first (all eyes and teeth), but he's grown on me.

We'll have to watch that episode tonight.

Tenant definitely has the Quirk thing down pat, great comedic timing. Look for his line about the lizard toward the end of this episode to see what I mean.
