It must be absolutely POURING down rain within a mile of here. Just a bit of thunder, but the light outside is yellow. Not white. Not dusk gray. Yellow.

Very scary.

I am more than a mile from you but I think the torrent is heading your way. It just finished flooding the parking lot here in less than 2 min. It was kinda scary.

I don't know if it will. Looking at the radar, the heavy rain spontaneously appeared just south of me and stayed there. Nothing's moving my way.

Gotta love Atlanta in summer. Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes or drive a mile and it'll be different.

We've been watching the yellowing for a bit and wondering if it is ever going to actually rain. That yellow always gives me the willies.

I used to like it more when I didn't have a dog that's terrified of thunder.

When I was a kid, I would sit at the biggest windows in the house and watch the sky turn yellow and the lightning turn green.

I was over at the Taqueria del Sol in Decatur at the time, it was totally pouring. Nice storm, it was nice sitting in the porch area watching all the pretty lightning.
