[Link has been sitting at a table in the inn for a while, tucking into a warm bowl of soup before he starts his shift. The Hero of Time, if you were to listen to Sheik, was not a staggering master of perception all the time, but even he couldn't miss Yenyoji's tail as it gradually slips out from under the table.

He puts his spoon down and peers at it, unsure. Then he lifts the tablecloth and looks under.]

[Yen looks up at Link, her eyes shining as the light reflects from her feline eyes. Her ears are folded down to not bump against the underside of the table she is crouching under.] Oh, hi there!

[After the initial surprise, there's not anything in his voice to show that he actually thinks hiding under the table is weird. This is the kid who ran into people's houses and broke all their pots and stole their money, after all. This is pretty much normal.]

[Despite her off-putting feline manner, she has no predatory interest in squirrels or horses. When she calmly steps out from her hiding spot, she walks in a most calm and humanly manner toward the stallion. If nothing else, at least she seems to have dealt with some kind of beast of burden before, keeping her hands at her sides until she knows there will be no finger-biting.]
