[Yenyoji has taken to oozing around the village (complete with making a slurping sound with her mouth at certain moments), pestering whomever she comes across for information. What kind? Just their thoughts on the Mansion. For curiosity's sake, you know. Much safer than going to find out on her own.]

[Despite her off-putting feline manner, she has no predatory interest in squirrels or horses. When she calmly steps out from her hiding spot, she walks in a most calm and humanly manner toward the stallion. If nothing else, at least she seems to have dealt with some kind of beast of burden before, keeping her hands at her sides until she knows there will be no finger-biting.]

Good guess! We have things that look like horses, but nothing quite like them.

We ride chocobos. They're big flightless birds. [She calmly reaches up and starts rubbing the side of his neck, immediately smiling at how the fur is coarse like her's.]

Well, they're... usually a yellowy color, sure, and their feathers are ruffed on their heads. [Yen spreads the fingers of her hand and sticks it behind and at the top of her head, in an attempt to simulate the fan-like crest.]

And they have a bigger ruff that sticks up like that on their butts, too.

[Yenyoji beams, pleased both that she explained decently, and for the overall moment of ~cultural understanding~.] I like to think they are, but I really can't do them justice with words alone! They have powerful long legs, and slender necks, and curved beaks...

And they're little smelly, but you get used to it.
