Notes: More of that BSG thing. 600 words that are set before Patient, because I’m apparently incapable of linear storytelling these days. [sigh]

Okay, let's make a deal here: you take us to the very darkest, deepest places you can, you push Fraser into such a well of misery and hopelessness and heartbreak and pain and then you cover that well up and toss away the key and frakkin' bury the exit, and we'll all weep and moan and wail and at the end...he gets to be back with Ray! Yay! Everybody wins!

Nah, just kiddin'. You keep right on tearing the heart and soul out of OFM. You're good at that. And these fics have been endlessly fascinating. (And, um, I now have this HUGE KINK for Fraser/Leoben). But a little light now and then in the gloom wouldn't be totally remiss, or at least some indication that in the end Fraser does get back home somehow. Y'know. Just to keep your readers from weeping :-)

I hope I didn't do that weird Interweb thing where my tone is completely different than I intend it to be. I love these fics. I'm just being flippant and resentfull of sad!doomed!broken!Fraser after reading omphale23's story. You understand

I keep hearing rumors about Omphale's story, and I think I should stay away from it, because I can't handle doomed!Fraser. Yes, I know that sounds like the basest hypocrisy, but generally speaking, I don't write stories unless I know there's a happy somewhere in the future.

And as for Fraser/Leoben - yeah. That's why I started writing this in the first place. *sigh*

I'm still trying to make sense of all of this (actually watching some more BSG might help), but I'm having a great time doing it, and Fraser, ohh, Fraser. Lovely and isolated and just right for angst and pain, oh, yes. But waaah!

Watching BSG may or may not help. I'm so far from canon at this point that it's anybody's guess.
