[WHO] crymogaea and rosey_maiden [WHERE] The Baroque'n Violin [ABOUT] Rose brings Iceland a fan and he took her out for dinner in return. After this thread. Backdated like craaaazy. [WARNINGS] Fluff?
While it was cooler during the night hours, Rose had to agree with Iceland's thinking. The heat definitely wasn't much less than in the day. Still, the lack of sun made it a lot nicer to walk around despite the heat. At night, there was no worry of sunburn or whatnot which explained her change of clothes. The blond was still wearing her short shorts but had swapped out her baggy cotton shirt for a green tanktop borrowed from Eli. Hopefully, the female country wouldn't mind.
When they arrived at the Baroque'n Violin, Rose had to smile. It'd been... a long time since she'd come here. The woman remembered liking it despite being interrogated about the Harmony at the time. After a glance around, Rose did sit down with Iceland with that small smile still on her face.
"Do you come here a lot?" she asked, merely being curious.
The lack of sun was nice. It's not like Iceland had something against it, because he enjoyed a sunny day every now and then, but as you may already know, it makes the heat even more unbearable. He wondered how much longer does he had to stand it, and hope that the heat would diminish as summer wanes.
He'd put on a loose button-up shirt, because as much as he despises wearing a shirt during times like this, of course he couldn't get out without one. And like Rose, he was wearing shorts as well.
"No, not really. As in 'not everyday'." He answered in a teasing manner.
"Well, not every day, of course," the blond replied with an eye roll. He seemed to be teasing her a lot lately, she's noticed. Rose still can't tell if this is a good or a bad thing but he does seem to be a lot more relaxed around her. So, she'll take it as a good thing.
"So, what's your favorite thing to eat here?" she asked, curious now. When she thought about it, Rose didn't know much about the country yet he knew a lot about her. Well, she knew enough about the actual country of Iceland in her world but not-- Forget it, thinking about it like that was just confusing the poor girl.
That answer earned her a small chuckle from him. It's probably something he inherited from Norway. The closer he'd considered you to be, the more teasing you get. But yes, it's definitely a good thing. That means he was comfortable being around you. And in case you haven't noticed, Rose, he laugh and smile more often in your presence. You got a contender in form of a Shahrazad in case of the latter, though.
"Doesn't really have a favourite." He answered, shrugging. Predictably, none of his food are here in the menu. But that doesn't mean he doesn't like anything here, no, it's just that he didn't really consider anything to be his favourite. Maybe except for coffee, but it doesn't count, right?
No one knows a lot about Iceland, unless you're Norway, so don't confuse yourself with that thought, Rose. But feel free to play 20 questions with him.
