Characters: Phoenix [open]
Location: Deck 9, starts at the Black Pearl Restaraunt

Despite the insanity that seemed to have gripped the ship, despite the injury to his leg, Phoenix still needed to eat. Unfortunately, even though he'd managed to avoid all of the other hazards, ( it was the restaurant that was his downfall. )

Lily doesn't know about the craziness in the library yet, so she feels it's in her best interest to sneak down and grab a book. She's recently started reading first grade books - you know, the ones with the big font and little words? Perfect for Lily, a 12-year-old girl with the reading skills of a seven-year-old. You know how it is.

So Lily's dodging her way through the Black Pearl when she sees Phoenix. Despite their relationship still being incredibly awkward (as it will be for the rest of their lives), once she sees his limp, she has to stop and check in. Lily doesn't plan to linger - she wants back in her room ASAP - but hey, she's Lily, and Phoenix is her friend.

"Feeeeeeeeenix?"

She's not quite sure if she should still call him "Feenie". She stops in all her ducking and weaving around tables and peers over one at the elf/man/thing. Nothing strange from a distance, so she circumvents the table and approaches him.

"Phoenix, are you okay?

He doesn't respond verbally, but he does turn toward her. There's no recognition in his eyes, though, nothing to indicate he even heard what she said. Nothing except the fact that he's changed his direction and is now swiftly approaching her.

One hand curls into a fist as his eyes lock on hers. The question is, will she let him get within reach?

AWWWW SHIT lilyground April 20 2010, 02:15:40 UTC
Oh, shit. That doesn't look good. Usually Phoenix is all gentleman-like. Not only that, but he's moving too fast with that limp, he does not look happy, and that is a fist. Lily backs up and circles the table again, eager to put something between them. She eyes the exits subtly, then focuses her attention on him.

"Phoenix, you dooo... not look okay, maybe you should..."

He should what?

"... go to bed."

That's not going to work, Lily - talking to him or putting yourself on the other side of a table. Instead of going around the piece as he would almost any other day, Phoenix reaches down and grips the table's edge. Then, with every ounce of his strength, he hurls it to the side. Chairs smash and there's a clatter of broken dishes and silverware.

Phoenix doesn't care. His attention is still focused on Lily, and he's advancing on her again.
