Sulphur eagerly hurries after Razer, tugging Rfena along with her, and steps into the elevator with the android, standing as opposite of Razer as they can get.

For this, Marco would have advocated moving right away anyway. But it doesn't matter. Having been waiting by the theater and now clued in by Sulphur, he followed her into the elevator and did his best to ignore Razer.

God, he feels old. He follows the group as best he can, as quick as he can, hobbling down the corridor. Moving quickly is murder on the leg, but he keeps going. Hell, he's got the damn coin, he's going to see this through.

He hobbles into the elevator, hissing out curses through his teeth, and leaning against the wall. "Couldn't wait ten seconds, could you, sīshēngzǐ?"

Gideon is all for moving quickly-- he wants this whole ordeal done with, the sooner the better. What's more, he wants to help... won't do to just stand around, after all. That's never been his style.

He steps in with the others.

Jinx is already at Deck 9, for reasons unknown to even himself, when he sees that excessively tall man rushing into an elevator.

Now, Jinx knows ol' Smokestake hates him with a burning passion only comparable to that of a metalhead and...something else. He waits for the number on Razer's elevator to stop before deciding to follow in a different one.

Sokka belatedly realizes that Razer is leaving, and, as much as he DOESN'T LIKE THE GUY, he quickly follows him like the curious little duckling warrior he is. He picks up speed and runs full-out to get into the elevator--

--just to have it close. He skids and slams into the shiny metal doors, slowly sliding down them into a heap on the floor. Flailing his way back into a standing position, screeching in pure aggravation as he does, he bolts for the stairs, pulling his communicator out of the pouch on his thigh (aka his old machete sheathe, now an extra-large communicator holder) and began broadcasting a message, jumping several stairs to a landing, and sprinting down the next set.

He, unfortunately, doesn't beat the elevator, but arrives on Deck 12, nonetheless.

Just to give him a reason for being there :| only_one_raoul April 12 2010, 07:46:41 UTC
Raoul had been having enough trouble sleeping with the knowledge that Erik was still at large. The constant whispers for help made his insomnia even worse. So, here he is, taking a walk, trying to ease his nerves--

Oh look, there's a boy running down the stairs. Curiosity piqued, Raoul follows.

The elevator stops with a DING! and Razer steps out without even acknowledging anyone else in it with him. He moves out of the entryway, narrows his eyes and scans the area, putting both hands on his hips, then turns and looks back at the group in the elevator--and anyone just straggling in.

"Fan out from here." He points to a number plate visible to one side of a door, then to its neighbor. "The room numbers ascend in this direction." He waves a hand to his right. "We're in the high twelve-hundreds here, we need to move up."

With a pause, he turns and looks at the mess of luggage still more or less blocking the walkway. Perhaps they should have taken the next set of elevators.

Whatever. The luggage isn't stacked to the ceiling in most places, he can hike if he has to.

Sulphur exits with Rfena, quickly examining her surroundings, tail twitching erratically. She glances at the number plates on the doors as Razer talks, rocking on her heels.

"...This is a freaking mess."

Fan out...right. The decks followed the same pattern in room numbers, mostly. Marco just started down the starboard hallway, carefully picking his way over the luggage.

Raoul has absolutely no idea what in God's name is going on, but... there are a lot of strange people here. He quickly follows after the most normal looking one he can see, and unfortunately, that's Marco.

"Excuse me, monsieur? What's going on?"

Captain Clueless, away!

Mordecai manages to miss the elevator, but he's pretty quick on the stairs. After all, the elevator was full of people and the idle wait time while moving between floors has never really been his thing.

Instead he's running, moving fast and while he doesn't beat the elevator troop, he manages to reach the deck in question only a fraction later.
