Ripa actually frequents the gym, he just keeps to himself and doesn't broadcast it. Even if it doesn't fight back it feels good to slug at something. When Lilith comes in and starts hammering away at the sandbag, he watches, feeling partially amused. Mostly eager, though-- he knows the Siren is always eager to play ball for a good fight.

"Care to try your luck at something that will hit back?"

Overeager she very much was. She swung into the punching bag a last time--familiar white lines splintering out from her fist, a testament to Anshin's efficiency--before wrapping an arm around it and slanting a look behind her.

"Luck is for girls who need it," Lilith shot back. In spite of her frustration, an anticipatory grin tugged up the corners of her mouth. "How you doin', Ripa?"

Yeah, she remembered.

Ripa's head snaps up in surprise, before his orange eyes narrow dangerously.

"What did you call me?"

He remembers being young, but he doesn't remember letting that slip.

Now there was the reaction she'd been expecting. Ever one to relish having what she perceived as the upper hand, her Cheshire's smile grew wider. Yes, she had had her own issues with the implications of her appearance and temperament while aged, but like with anything else those could be buried by antagonizing those surrounding her.

Put two agitated predators into a cage, and what did you get? "Reeee-pah. Awfully cute name for a hideous lug like you, yanno."
