How strange a place...Van hardly understood how any of it worked, or why. At first he'd protested the elevator, then gripped the railing inside in white-knuckled alarm. An alternative to stairs...what next?
"Welcome, indeed," he marveled softly, looking out among the piled chaos, "Havens...What in the world is all this?"
Remy smiled and chuckled a bit as Van pulled himself from the elevator. It had been a hell of a time getting him in. When he asked about the deck, Remy started looking around, a smile comfortably on his face.
"It's everything. Everything you could ever possibly want you can find here with enough determination. Which reminds me that I have got to take you to the library. It's simply amazing. But we're here for clothes."
Remy led them to a room filled with various shirts, different styles and colors and motioned for Vanyel to enter.
For some reason that seemed to bring sorrows back to Vanyel's face. Anything he could ever want? Hardly. Van shook his head at his own foolishness, and pushed past the melancholy place in the back of his mind that was numb with the sheer lack of Yfandes.
"Right," He replied, frowning at the pattern embossed on the nearest suitcase as if it were eminently fascinating, "Then I suppose there's nothing to do but search through it all? Is there any organization to it?"
Remy was already holding up a long-sleeved red shirt by the time Vanyel asked if they should start? "Yeah, go ahead. There's not much by way of organization. Just dive right in. It's the best strategy." He held the shirt up against himself. "What do you think?"
